Off-Season Moves – Pac-10 Football
The departure of USC Trojans head coach Pete Carroll, who took over head coaching duties with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks is one of the biggest moves in the Pac-10. Carroll will be missed both on campus and on the field who had been coaching at USC for many years.
The firing of line coach Pat Ruel was another blow for the Trojans. There is going to have some rebuilding to do to get their staffing back to where it needs to be by the Trojans. Betting odds are always available with different sportsbook.
The head coaching job at Louisiana Tech was accepted by former Arizona Wildcats offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes. The announcement that he was leaving the team surprised the Wildcats, who had no idea he was even scouting around for a new job.
It was needed to add two new coordinators to his roster by Arizona coach Mike Stoops. Mark Stoops (Mike’s brother) filled the Defensive Coordinator. He was with Florida State previously.
The job with the Washington State Cougars offered to Bill Moos will be taken by him. For both him as well as the university this will be proved to be a great move. With his training and credibility the team should go far, could they be in the running for the Pac-10 Championship this year?
